這前奏，加上腦海中看過的海地災民容顏，我想到...這世上受了傷卻努力活著的人有多少啊！海地地震後死傷數十萬人，英、美兩地的流行樂壇都展開了義唱，而英國歌手們就選唱了R. E. M.樂團 1992 年的作品Everybody hurts。

原來在80 年代還算另類的R. E. M.樂團在90 年代後，成為主流團體，安德森音樂倉庫的老安說他們境遇頗似英國的 U2 合唱團，深表同意。此曲本是該團鼓手 Bill Berry為那些有自殺傾向的人們所寫，希望能帶給生活過得並不順遂的人們一點心靈的安藉。

海地地震已過了一年多，當地切仍百廢待舉，災民所住之處就如難民營一般，深受被營區男性強暴之苦的女性，得不到該有的支援與照顧，已經成為生活景況最不堪的ㄧ群女性 ...
