非洲白化症患者被謀殺或不人道對待是兩年前世界新聞攝影展中的故事之一, 令人震驚. 

 在非洲的許多國家中,人們認為白化症者是不祥的象徵,因此殺害或虐待他們的事件層出不窮. Salif Keita將這首歌獻給世上所有因白化症而飽受不人道對待的人. 他希望藉此讓大家多想想 “不同”並不意味不好. 對於白化症患者或所有與大多數人不同的人, 我們應以同理心給與公平的對待, 而非極盡能事的虐待. 如果可能, 請大家抽空讀一下他的歌詞. 

這張專輯後來讓Salif得到了2010法國Victoires de la musique大奬中的最佳世界音樂獎.
